Since you knew Duff he was known to the GNR band as “The Sumo wrestling of beers” he had that name until 1993 when he was working on his solo album “Believe In Me” that as out in North America the spring of 1993 . Why did he drop his GNR nick name?
On completing his album his Pancreas exploded due to alchol induced . The doctors advised him to quit drinking or he would be dead in 30days if not less. That had changed Duff’s life. ever since that he had been sober . He brags about that and he throws in that he was one of the last people to see Kurt Cobain alive.
Ever since GNR fired their mangement and Hired a new management things have been looking up for GNR . So far the new mangement had someone “Dr. Pepper” sponcer GNR for the new album. GNR have been touring alot more and now the release for “Chinese democracy ” is just days away.
I have been listening to GNR since i was 6 years old. I just want to give a BIG THANK YOU ! to the GNR management for all their hard work .

In a recent interview with Hinder the frontman for the band said that GNR’s new album “Chinese Democracy” sounds too” Artsy” . “Axl’s voice is still great, But everyone is used to Slash and the rest of the old GNR band.” ” Now he has new guitarists and more guitars ” says frontman of Hinder
Does Hinder hate GNR like alot of other bands? NO that isn’t the case. They respect GNR.

November 23 2008 is the set release date for the new album “Chinese Democracy ” album this is the long awaited album since the downfall of GNR back in 1993. Let’s hope that this album does really well in sales. Axl Rose and the Guns N Roses band has teased the fans for years with leaked songs on the radio . You often wonder what they have been doing with this album why did the wait so long to release it.
Rumor has it that Axl is taking GNR to a whole different route with the songs . Its not like the “old school ” songs and rock that GNR usually do. But they do still play their old songs for the older GNR fans.
I guess we wont know how the album really sounds until they release it. From what i heard its going to be a great album…Good luck guys

Slash had to get rid of his 80 pet snakes because one had gotten into his sons room. Slash had poisonous and dangerous boa’s and pythons. But he misses the good old days when he could find a couple of dead mice and rats around the corner. He also admits that feeding them was quite a job today. He will miss his snakes but least his son is alive and well

This year Steven Adler is tour with his band “Adler’s Appetite” . They are touring Europe and soon to be releasing a new album. Good luck to the band!
There are tons of big named stars writing books these days. Last year Slash who every one knows has written and published his book. Soon Steven Adler who was in the GNR band with Slash is also writing a book. But here is a question for you. Whose book would you buy? Slash’s or Steven’s ? Both of them had lifed life on the fast lane sort of speak. But whose book would be more interesting? To me it would have to be….Steven Adler. I’m sorry Slash but its true….Adler had a pretty interesting life, he started out in a little band, he grew fame, he got fired from GNR, and he was out of the spot light fighting drug addiction then he is coming back with a band called “Adler’s Appetite”
Adler is getting his act together now he has to start all over again, with a clean slate. No drugs just a older rocker trying to relive his dream.
Yes that is right former drummer for GNR Steven Adler is writing a book about his life story and a pretty good one too if I must say. There is not a release date or anything but this book talks about how he met Slash and how he ended up in GNR. what led to his departure from the band , and his famous court vs. the band and how he said that GNR got him addicted to drugs.
Plus he talks about his band Adler’s Appetite and how his life is without drugs.

Izzy former guitarst touring with former band GNR? The anwser is no. Izzy just does spot shows in favor’s to Axl Rose and the GNR name . Axl and Izzy don’t have heat against each other. Today Izzy and Axl are still good friends…..after all these years
